heating element

Question, is a 2000 amp element to much for a 10 gallon reveeneer reflux still, and please serious answers only

Depend what you mean by "too much". Assuming 100% efficiency (which you wont get as you'll lose heat to the environment) it'll take 2 hours to heat up water from 72°F to 212°F.  You'll need a dedicated 20 amp 120v circuit. If you can swing it, you'd be a lot happier with a 5500 watt element but that will require a 220v / 30amp circuit.  Then you'll heat up that same water in under an hour. It's clearly not too much.
