The wine auction, which will take place on September 12, will feature more than 800 lots from the famous Florentine restaurant"s cellar, including fine wines from Burgundy, Bordeaux, and Champagne, as well as Italian wines from vintners such as Romanee Conti, Château Latour, Château Petrus, and Château Cuc Champagne.
The live auction will be held at the Cabotte Wine Bar and Restaurant, while live technology supports bidders from around the world to participate in the auction.
The Italian restaurant Enoteca Pinchiorri is partly owned by Ian Mill, who sold his extensive wine collection through Zarchi's auction house last year.
Giorgio Pinchiorri, the restaurant's founder, said:I am delighted to be working with Zarchi's Auction House on such a historic auction. Every bottle of wine means a lot to me, and indeed I say goodbye to every bottle when they enter the box at Zarchi's Auction House. I always try to remember that if the bottles aren't opened, I can't really appreciate them.
The head of Zach's Auctions also said that in addition to holding a wine auction in September, the company intends to continue with multiple seller wine auctions in London this November.
