Keller has been writing wine column articles for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung since 2002 and is the author of the best-selling book 101 Reasons Why Wine. In his article "Ambitious Chinese Star Winery", Keller describes his tasting impressions of the Ningxia Zhang Yu Chateau Mosel XV 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon: The nose is dominated by intense aromas of cassis, plums and spices, with a hint of floral notes. The palate is harmonious, with the tannins of a young wine, moderate acidity and perfect structure. This wine proves that Chinese wines have great potential and can rival the top wines from world-renowned regions.
It is understood that the wines produced by Ningxia Zhangyu Chateau Mosel XV are now exported to 36 countries, and the main Swiss distributors are Bataillard and Vinorama.
Statistics show that Switzerland ranked fourth in the world in terms of per capita wine consumption at nearly 40 bottles in 2019, and first in the world in terms of annual per capita wine spending at about €600.
