Over the next six months, Wine Australia will be hosting a number of live workshops around the course for Chinese wine industry professionals.
Twelve Chinese language course topics from the education program are now available online. Since its launch in 2019, the Explore Australia wine education course has received widespread interest from wine instructors, wineries, retailers, distributors, importers, marketers and wine enthusiasts around the world, with over 23,000 downloads from its website.
The success of the Explore Australia Wine Education Program is due to its lively visual presentation, which makes complex information easy to understand using a variety of content formats such as charts, videos, and images, and downloadable supplemental resources including tasting mats, videos, and certificates of participation. Of particular note is the fact that access to the educational program is not restricted by specific permissions and that all resources are open and editable worldwide.
Discover Australian wine education courses cover all levels of wine course material from beginner to advanced, including both wine basics such as introductory wine courses, specific topics such as Australia"s old vine Shiraz and its blends, and courses featuring well-known Australian wine regions such as the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale.
In addition, Wine Australia continues to engage with the wine industry by partnering with wine industry media to host live webcasts and collaborating with well-known industry opinion leaders such as Wine Peeps to promote articles on Weibo and WeChat, thus further promoting knowledge and educational resources about Australian wine. In the coming months, Wine Australia will continue to engage wine lovers through these creative and innovative interactive methods to keep them interested in Australian wine.
