USA Today reported Oct. 7 that a new study shows that alcohol consumption among U.S. adults (especially women) increased during the New Crown epidemic.

Heavy alcohol consumption among women increased by 41 percent. According to a report in JAMA Network Open, alcohol consumption during the epidemic increased by 14 percent from a year ago, with a 17 percent increase in consumption among women.
