British wine merchant Berkmann has added California Ridge to its portfolio and will take over distribution of the brand in the UK early next year.

The agency for California Ridge Winery will change from Fields, Morris Verdin to Berkmann on January 1, 2021, the second U.S. wine brand the company has taken over from FMV, and starting this December, Berkmann will officially represent Oregon"s Duluan Winery.
Established in 1962, Ridge Winery has been at the forefront of the California wine industry from the beginning, and its Monte Bello Cabernet Sauvignon is now a California wine industry classic.
Alex Hunt, buying director for British wine merchant Berkmann, said: "California wine is a key focus for Berkmann, and my colleagues and I are delighted to be working with California Ridge Winery.
