The Executive Committee of the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) has approved its official sponsorship of the 2020 Premios Internacionales Magnum (International Big Bottle Wine Competition). This is the fourth consecutive year that the OIV has sponsored the International Magnum Wine Competition, and President Pau Roca has consistently expressed his support and recognition of the event.

With the sponsorship of the OIV, the competition has gained a level of visibility and communication that has also facilitated promotion among wineries and professional media in the wine sector worldwide. In addition, representatives certified by the OIV will be present throughout the tasting to demonstrate that the competition meets the highest standards regarding tasting, scoring and awarding of prizes. The International Large Bottle Wine Competition is the first event in the world to value and reward wines in 1.5L bottles.
The 1.5L bottle is now commonplace in restaurants and hospitality around the world and is highly appreciated by professionals and major wine brands. 2020 will see the 12th edition of the International Large Bottle Wine Competition in Madrid on December 3, with wineries from different countries in Europe and the United States expected to take part in the event.
