According to information from the Thai Customs Department, the department recently seized a total of 980 pieces of smuggled wine worth 18 million baht.

It is reported that the seized smuggled wines were located in a warehouse in Nong Chok district, Bangkok, with a total quantity of 980 pieces and a value of 18 million baht including tax. It was detected by the Anti-Smuggling and Investigation Division of the Customs Department.
These smuggled wines have neither legal import documents nor tax labels, therefore, they will all be confiscated in accordance with the relevant provisions of paragraphs 242-247 of the relevant customs law.
Despite the great difficulty of anti-smuggling work, the Customs Office still makes full use of available resources and technology to ensure illegal smuggling activities and combat smuggling crimes.
