The Insitituto Cervantes is not new to everyone who studies Spanish. Thanks to the collaboration of Spanish wine expert Santiago Vivanco, this week the Insitituto Cervantes renewed its agreement with the Spanish Wine Federation (FEV) for the dissemination of wine culture, preserving the cultural heritage of wine in the Caja de las Letras Museum in Cervantes, which helps strengthen the link between Spanish language, literature and wine.

In 2019, the Instituto Cervantes and FEV launched a cultural tasting event that was recognized by the wineries and the public.
In 2020 they even planned ten new events, but had to cancel them due to the health crisis caused by the coronavirus.
Ten years old, the Caja de las Letras Museum in Cervantes is a time capsule that preserves the memories of more than 40 writers, artists, musicians, scientists, filmmakers and actors from Spain as witnesses to history.
