The International Wine and Spirits Competition is one of the most important competitions in the world and is considered the Oscars of the field. The entire judging process is rigorous and lasts seven months, with a panel of 400 professional Masters of Wine, sommeliers, buyers and journalists from more than 30 different countries.
The Fundador winery has been recognized internationally again this year for its excellence in brandy production, and in 2019 the premium brand Fundador Supremo 18 Oloroso from the Fundador winery was recognized as the "World's Best Brandy" at the International Wine and Spirits Competition, in addition to being recognized as the World's Best fortified wine winery in the world.
Château Fundador is one of the oldest wineries in the Jerez appellation, with a long history of winemaking. The winery combines traditional techniques with innovative technologies to adapt to new times, and has a very good range of aged sherries that can be used to produce distinctive cognacs, including the Fundador Supremo range, which has been acclaimed by international professional tasters in recent years and has gradually made the winery one of the world's premium wine and spirits brands.
