This year, in the new edition of the Penin Guide 2021 Yearbook, the rustic, vibrant, refreshing and aromatic Bobal grape finally made it to the top of the list of outstanding grape varieties.

Chozas Carrascal has always been one of the best values in Valencia, and all the wines produced by the winery have been rated above 90 points in the Penin Guide in previous years.

This year was also a fruitful one for the Udier-Regna appellation, with nearly 40 wines recognized by the appellation"s regulatory board, in addition to Materia 2017, receiving the Penin Excellence certification, with final scores between 90 and 94 points, more than half of which were made from the native grape variety Bobal.
