Spain offers 90 million euros to subsidize wine industry

On August 15, according to The Gguardian, the Spanish government will spend 90 million euros to destroy grapes or distill them into brandy and industrial alcohol.

It is reported that the government has approved only about 10% of the claims for the green grape harvest. Meanwhile, the president of Asaja Farmers" Guild said that grape prices will be bought at the lowest price within 1 month and wine sales will deteriorate if no measures are taken.

The development of an industry is inseparable from the support of local policies.
