According to import and export trade statistics released by Korea Customs on the 4th, South Korean wine (wine in containers of less than 2 liters) imports in the first 11 months of 2020 were 389.69 thousand tons and the import value was $239.27 million, breaking the record high set in 2019. 2019 full-year imports were 33.97 thousand tons and the import value was $203.86 million.
Korea imports more red wines from Chile, France, the United States, Italy, and Spain, and white wines from France, Italy, Chile, the United States, and New Zealand, in that order.
