Sotheby's has recently held an online auction bidding event featuring wines from private collections, with a large selection of fine Bordeaux and Burgundy wines with vintages spanning several decades.

The online wine auction, called Vine I A Gourmets Classic Collection, began yesterday and runs through August 25.
These auctioned wines feature a large number of extremely popular and collectible wines, including first growths, spanning 50 vintages, with a particular focus on Château Mouton Rothschild, and large bottles of Romanee Conti from the 1980s and 1990s.
The auction featured 362 wine lots with a minimum pre-auction estimate of £1.2 million.

These wines were purchased at the time of their first release, in excellent condition, and have never been moved. The wines from Bordeaux and Burgundy, and the oversized bottles are a dream combination for collectors with a classic taste.
