British scientist Roger Penrose was awarded for his proof that black holes are a direct consequence of Einstein"s general theory of relativity; German scientist Reinhard Genzel and American scientist Andrea Gates were awarded for their discovery of supermassive objects in the middle of the Milky Way. Stefan Gilleson: We are very happy and grateful!
Since the New Crown epidemic was also affecting us, we were not allowed to have a large party. But Prof. Genzel is also an excellent cook, and we had a small party at his house where he showed off his cooking skills with champagne and 1992 wine!
