Although it has been in production for several years, it has not been sold outside of Portugal until now due to an oversupply in the local market.
However, the recent increase in vineyard acreage at Birds of Prey means that some wines are now available for sale to foreign markets.
I am increasingly convinced that the dry white wines of the Douro Valley have exceptional quality potential," said Christian Seely, managing director of Flying Bird Vineyards.
The blended wines have a depth of character, fresh aromas and minerality that show the potential of the white grape varieties of the Douro Valley grown on the land of Château Feijoa.
With the increase in acreage of white grape varieties, we can now allocate a small amount of Cedro do Noval white wine to the UK market and we are very pleased to be able to recommend this wine to UK consumers for the first time.
This white wine has an RRP of £19.95 per bottle and can be purchased at Gonzalez Byass UK.
