After a thorough evaluation of the current situation, the directors of the Penin Guide have decided to postpone the Penin Top Spanish Wines Salon, scheduled for October 26 and 27, in order to carry out the event in a better and safer way at the right moment.

In recent months, while following current regulations and security protocols, the Penin Guide has been trying to find better ways for the event to ensure the safety of all exhibiting wineries, media outlets and visitors. However, this fall has been very complex and the issue of mobility of domestic and international visitors has meant that we have been unable to achieve absolute security guarantees.
This decision was taken by Penin together with the General Manager of IFEMA and the Autonomous Community and City Council of Madrid. The Penin Guide is currently discussing with the partner institutions the most suitable time to hold the event, and this year"s salon will also help the Spanish wine industry to relaunch the market and rebuild business partnerships compared to previous years.
The Penin Guide was scheduled to host seven national Spanish wine salons and five international wine salons (Germany, United States, Mexico, Russia, China) in 2020. Due to the epidemic, many of these plans have had to be postponed or cancelled. We will make a decision and post an updated schedule of events as soon as possible, so stay tuned!
