Since the outbreak, the tasting tour of the Penin Guide 2021 has had to be suspended, but the tasting continues. Wineries from different regions sent their wines to the Madrid headquarters, where the tasting team worked together to taste and score them.

With various regions of Spain gradually entering the downgrade, the Penin tasting team set out again this week to taste wines from the D.O. Ribera de Duero appellation.
The tasting took place at the headquarters of the Regulatory Board of the AOC Douro in the municipality of Roa, where nearly 580 red, white and pink wines were tasted. The Regulatory Board adopted strict sanitization measures in accordance with safety protocols.
The tasting team mainly consisted of Carlos Gonzlez, Director of Penin Guide Tasting Team, Javier Luengo, Editor-in-Chief of Penin Guide, Boris Olivas, Director of Penin Tasting Academy and Zhang Ziyang, Director of Penin Greater China. The tasting tour was successfully concluded in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
