According to a recent survey conducted by the Paris Wine Fair and the Paris International Wine and Spirits Exhibition, 55% of participating vintners saw an increase in sales last year.

In total, 60% of merchants surveyed said they made good revenue in 2020, and 15% said sales were more stable in 2020 compared to 2019.
The Paris Wine Fair and Paris International Wine and Spirits Exhibition surveyed 658 wine producers and 737 wine merchants from February 5 to 9 this year.
Of the wine producers surveyed, 34% gave positive results compared to 2019, and 22% of respondents felt that wine sales were more stable last year.
In the final quarter of 2020, 58% of surveyed wine producers and delicatessens saw significant year-over-year sales increases. Sales also increased for 25% of wine producers during the holiday season, while sales remained stable for 28% of producers compared to the same period last year.
These merchants proved to be very flexible in how they sold alcohol last year, with 67 percent entering new distribution channels, 22 percent using online retail and 20 percent using home delivery.
