Founded in 2001 by Meininger Verlag, a German wine media publishing company, the Mundus Vini (Latin for Mundus, the world, and Vini, the wine) is known for its rigorous approach and high authority.

The MUNDUS VINI Grand Prix is held twice a year, in spring and summer, and is one of the most important wine events in Germany and around the world, attracting top wineries and brands from around the world and bringing together more than 10,000 premium wines from around the world.
The competition is grouped according to the category, origin, quality level and flavor of the products entered, using a percentage scoring system developed by the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV), with wines reaching 90 points to be awarded a gold medal, a scheme also recognized by the International Association of Winemakers (UIOE).
A highly qualified international jury of renowned personalities, including winemakers, sommeliers, wine distributors and wine press journalists, evaluate the participating wines in blind tastings. Their expertise has given this competition a worldwide reputation and the MUNDUS VINI medal has become synonymous with wine quality assurance.
The Mitzi Black Ruby is a beautiful deep ruby red color, with an intense nose of cocoa and vanilla, along with aromas of dark berries such as cassis and blueberry jam, smooth and creamy tannins, a very balanced structure, and a hint of toffee sweetness on the finish.
It is the star wine of Château Mitzi, and it is also the work of the national winemakers in the winery. After nearly ten years in the Guinness-certified cellar, it has conquered numerous wine enthusiasts after reaching its drinking age, and has won the gold medal of the Brussels International Wine Competition (CMB), the gold medal of the Asian Wine Competition (AWT) and seven other world-class competitions, which shows its charm.
In this international event, Mitzi Black Jewel was recognized by more than 100 experts in the industry for its excellent quality, and won the gold medal again, which is a strong proof of its strength!
