This summer, however, a bar dedicated to sparkling wine will appear in downtown London, and it will also be the first sparkling bar in the world.
According to a spokesman for sparkling wine merchant Grays Feather, they will open a sparkling bar in London"s Covent Garden this summer, offering customers sparkling wines from countries around the world.
Although Prosecco sparkling wine remains one of the key market shares in the global sparkling wine market, with Prosecco sparkling wine accounting for close to 40% of the global market share over the next three years, according to data released by Vinexpo, consumers are now more inclined to take an interest in some rare sparkling wines.
Over the past few years, more sparkling wines from Argentina and New Zealand have appeared in UK supermarkets. So over the last twelve months, the local sparkling wine market in the UK has been growing in volume.
