It is understood that Liaoning Golden Ice Valley Ice Wine Winery has won a total of six gold medals in four consecutive years since it first participated in the MUNDUS VINI World Wine Competition in 2018, covering four consecutive vintages and three grades of ice wine, including 2015 vintage Gold Diamond and Blue Diamond (awarded in 2018), 2016 vintage Gold Diamond (awarded in 2019), 2017 vintage Blue Diamond ( 2020 award), and the 2018 vintage Gold and Black Diamond (2021 award), the high quality and consistency of this winery"s products is thus evident.
In addition, the Yantai Dinglott Winery 2015 and the Beijing Zhang Yu Chateau Effigy A8 Chardonnay were also awarded gold medals at this year's competition, with the Yantai Dinglott Winery 2015 also being named the Best Chinese Wine of the Year.
The MUNDUS VINI World Wine Competition was founded in 2001 by Meininger, Germany's leading wine media agency, and is divided into a spring judging session and a late summer judging session. According to the report, there were 7,300 wines from 39 countries entered in the Spring 2021 Jury, which consisted of nearly 300 professionals from wine production and trade, catering, wine media and other fields, and the judging period was from February 23 to March 5.
