The Chardonnay, made by Janice McDonald, Head Winemaker at Howe Park Winery, will be launched this March and is the first Australian wine in the Kylie Milo wine collection. The range also includes a French white, a red and two rosés, including a Côte de Provence pink.
Kelly Milo"s Chardonnay was entered into the Global Chardonnay Competition in December 2020, where the judges blind selected this wine and over 200 others.
The judges included David Round and Patricia Stefanowicz, who knew nothing about the wine's origin, country or producer, but both enjoyed the wine they tasted and awarded it a gold medal, praising the wine as being very good, especially within a category that retails for £20 to £30.
This blind, independent evaluation is a strong endorsement of this celebrity-endorsed wine, which will be available in a few months.
