After a 15-month battle with a brain tumor, Deirdre Carr, co-founder of Josh Cellars Winery, sadly collapsed and passed away last week at the age of 70.

After Deirdre Carr"s 69th birthday, she was diagnosed with a malignant glioma, for which she underwent a surgical procedure. This deadly tumor has also killed numerous American celebrities. Despite this deadly tumor, she did not give up on life easily.
Deirdre Carr was survived by her husband and daughter at her deathbed.
Josh Cellars' Chardonnay wines have been praised by many critics and have received 92 points in Wine & Spirits Magazine.
