This is not the first time the famous artist has collaborated with Veuve Clicquot. In 2006, at a charity auction in Tokyo, Yayoi Kusama recreated the portrait of the winery"s founder, Mrs. Veuve Clicquot, with her famous polka dot pattern.

Kusama has a large and extensive body of work in sculpture, installation and painting. The 91-year-old Japanese artist's work is known for its use of polka-dot patterns in a style that is very popular in the art market.

Once again, Veuve Clicquot calls on Yayoi Kusama to revisit the bottle and wooden case design of its latest vintage release, Champagne Noblewoman 2012, with the iconic polka dot pattern once again in full force.

The 2012 vintage of Champagne Noblewoman is a blend of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru vineyards of A, Verzenay, Verzy, Ambonnay.
