Italy is once again the world leader in wine exports!

This was reported by the Italian Institute for Agricultural and Food Market Research (ISMEA) and the Italian Wine Association (Unione italiana vini), which processed the Istat data related to wine exports for the 12 months of 2020.
Italy held its losses to -2.3% in the final quarter, much better than its main European competitors: France and Spain, whose figures were -10.8% and -3.2% respectively. Italy regained its world leadership with a capacity figure of more than 20.8 million hectoliters, surpassing Spain.
