According to Winenews, the Verona Chamber of Commerce has revealed that the current Italian Amarone and Rippasso Rippasso stocks and prices are fluctuating, with Amarone della Valpolicella at essentially normal levels, between €700 and €750 per hectoliter, and stocks as of July 1 remaining at last year (-0.4%).

However, at some points of sale, some Amarone and Ripasso prices were reduced up to 7.29 euros per bottle versus 4.5 euros. And Amarone"s inventory and average prices are at levels below the alert line and last year. Given the next bumper year, the Chamber may also take measures to protect the entire supply chain.
