This 12% abv dry, refreshing sparkling wine is made from three grapes that are commonly used to produce Cava wines from Penedes" Salero, Macabeo and Parellada.
This sparkling wine is made by the family-run Raventos i Blanc vintners, and it is made in the traditional way, with 18 months spent on the lees.
Cameron Diaz chose to work with Raventos i Blanc because of its focus on sustainability and because its vineyards have been certified by Demeter for biodynamics.
To reduce the environmental impact, the estate uses horses instead of tractors for plowing and sheep instead of mowers for plowing.
The white wines of the Avaline range are produced by the environmentally friendly Catalan producer canrafols dels Caus and are sold under the Clean Brand name.
And its rose sparkling wine is produced by Mas de Cadenet, a Provençal producer.
The new sparkling wine is priced at $26 and will be available this week on wine.com and at retailers such as Meijer, United Grocers and Market Street.
