Despite recent data from the Burgundy Wine Association showing that exports from the French region to Asia have taken a slight hit due to the New Crown pneumonia outbreak, the appetite for fine Burgundy wines has apparently not waned to the.

The main lot of the sale was 12 bottles of 1962 Romanée from Maison Leroy, which exceeded the highest estimate and sold for a final price of $45,410.

Other major Burgundy lots include the Henri Jayer 1978 Château Richey magnum, and more recently the Sylvain-Cardia 2005 vintage Romane-St-Vivant and the Aman Rousseau & Sons 2015 Chambetan red wine.

The highlight of Hart"s next auction is the late Joseph Phelps' wine cellar collection.
