A total of 2,602 lots were up for bid at the auction, with most of the lots exceeding their previous estimates. Several of the lots sold for world record prices, confirming that the fine wine market is doing very well, which is why Hart Auctioneers is the top-ranked wine auction house in the United States.
Highlights of the auction included a 1990 vintage of Romanee Conti, a 2011 vintage of Chateau Guandong Charlemagne, a 1985 vintage of Chateau Saint Denis and a 1993 vintage of Chateau Leroy.
Hart Auctioneers will continue to hold wine auctions in Chicago between the 18th and 19th of next month.
