fermented into alcohol, hence the lower alcohol content of ice wine.
Strong flavor and low alcohol content
Usually ice wine has a high residual sugar content of over 100 g/l; it has a lower alcohol content, usually only about 7%, compared to sweet wines produced in warmer wine-producing countries. Ice wine enjoys a high international reputation as a rare and distinctive sweet wine. What makes it special is its refreshingly high acidity, which is super sweet but not overly sweet, and its ability to achieve a balance of sweet and sour in the mouth.
Ideal for festive celebrations, ice wine is also perfect as an aperitif and is recommended for fruity desserts, ice cream or smoothies.
