To mark the collaboration, shoppers may see Fred Sirieix"s large cardboard graphic in Marks & Spencer stores across the UK, where he will be promoting his Wine of the Month.

To celebrate the partnership, Marks & Spencer added 15 new wines to its Classic Collection this week, showcasing flagship grapes and typical styles from renowned wine regions.

Sirieix says: I'm excited to see more classic collections being launched. For me, this collection really captures the essence of the best grapes and wine regions in the world.

What I love about them is that Marks & Spencer makes it easy to explore the world of wine, it takes the best regions and grapes and creates this wonderful collection. Each bottle of wine is an example of a classic wine or style. He adds.

The new releases include Malbec from Argentina, Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, Chenin Blanc from South Africa, Chardonnay from California, Carmenere from Chile, Valpolicella Ripasso and Sparkling Burgundy. All of these classic wines are priced between £8-£10.

Last year, Limoges-born Sirieix resigned from her 14-year tenure as general manager of the Windows Hotel in London's Mayfair, a former Michelin-starred hotel.

In addition to First Dates, Sirieix has hosted a series of food-focused television shows including The Art of Serving, My Million Pound Menu and Road Trip with Chef Gordon Ramsey and Gino D'Acampo.
