The Russian newspaper "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" reported on August 7 that the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union will be able to advertise wine and champagne in Russian paper media, television and radio.

Previously, under the Russian Law on Advertising, these rights were reserved for Russian wine and champagne producers who used Russian grapes.
The revision of the law has taken several years. In the newly amended law, the requirement for Eurasian Economic Union producers to prove that the grapes used for winemaking come from the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union was added.
