The Condes de Albarei winery from the Lower Bay Appellation (D.O. Ras Baixas) celebrates World Environment Day every year on June 5, promoting its sustainable approach and the measures it has taken.

In recent years, the winery has been working to reduce its CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and has recently obtained a certificate of registration of its carbon footprint data from the Ecotransformation Agency.
Condes de Albarei has been adopting environmentally friendly wine production methods since its inception, striving to minimize the environmental impact of their production activities. In the past year, their main achievement was that they recycled more than 800,000 kg of waste and reduced their CO2 emissions by 77.47%.
Condes de Albarei has been a pioneer in controlling carbon emissions, and they believe it is vital to reduce the environmental pollution from their vineyard work, which they have been focusing their efforts on to achieve a more sustainable development each year.
