Christie's will hold its first wine and spirits auction of the year on July 12 in Hong Kong, where more than 660 lots will go under the hammer, including top Bordeaux and Burgundy wines, Scotch and Japanese whiskies, as well as the first-ever sale of premium Japanese sake.

Hong Kong"s auction market is set to come alive again in July. Following Sotheby's announcement of an auction in early July, Christie's will also hold its first global live auction of the year, offering wine connoisseurs a chance to purchase their favorite wines.
The auction featured lots from many of the Bordeaux Grand Cru Classés, as well as some of Burgundy's most sought-after estates, such as Château Romanée-Conti, Château Le Birch and Château Aman Rousseau.
In this auction, bidders will also have the opportunity to buy some large format wines, such as the 1990 vintage of Romanee-Conti and 1995 vintage of La Tache, as well as the 2000 vintage of Mouton Rothschild.
Scottish and Japanese single malt whiskies from world-renowned distilleries will also feature in this auction, in addition to the introduction of famous premium Japanese sakes, including Ryusen Junmai Daiginjo, in this auction.
