The 2018 Mouton Rothschild vintage, whose label was designed by Chinese artist Xu Bing, was recently named the best wine in the world for 2021, according to Robbreport.

The event was organized by Tastingbook, a wine information source website, and over 190,000 wine professionals and enthusiasts from 115 countries voted on 204,675 different wines. After the voting phase, the top 100 in each category were tasted and judged in two blind tastings by Masters of Wine and tasting experts.
The 2018 Mouton is said to be made from 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc and a small amount of Petit Verdot.
