Emiliana Winery is the world"s largest organic winery with more than 800 hectares of certified organic vineyards. The winery said it increased its market share of the Adobe range of wines by 5.4% between May 2019 and May 2020.
The data was provided by a third-party company and independently analyzed by Nielsen. The data shows that Emiliana Winery's Adobe line of wines has a larger market share than products from competitors including Château Conosu, Château Torres de Chile, Koyle, Odfjell and Veramonte.
Antonia Feres, brand manager for Conosu Winery, told db last year that the producer will launch an organic range of wines in the UK in 2020, saying that Conosu Winery does not intend to become a fully organic wine merchant to compete with Emiliana Winery.
While Château Conosu is owned by Chilean wine giant Château Drynard, Château Emiliana is an independent company, run independently by the Guilisasti family.
Emiliana Winery's Adobe range of wines, which was rebranded last year, is now available in 35 countries. The range includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Merlot, Syrah, Malbec, Rosé, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Noir.
The Emiliana winery also has over 600 hectares of vineyards that have been certified biodynamic.
