Newspapers, citing the Rothschild family, reported that Ariane de Rothschild and their daughter announced with sadness the death of Benjamin de Rothschild, who died at the home of Prene-Chambezi after a heart attack. Inside "The Currency War", it says that the Rothschilds made their fortune in Europe during the Napoleonic period, and then the main force went to the United States, before and after two hundred years of history. According to the book, the family had $40 trillion in assets, and today it is rumored that the assets assets $800 trillion.

There are also more than 150 wines bearing the Rothschild name. Chateau Lafite Rothschild and Chateau Mouton Rothschild, two of the top five Bordeaux First Growths, were purchased by the Rothschild family in 1868 and 1853 respectively, and later added the name Rothschild, Chateau Lafite Rothschild and Chateau Mouton Rothschild respectively.

In fact, the Rothschild family's wines go far beyond Lafite and Mouton Rothschild. They have invested in wineries in Bordeaux, the south of France, Chile, Argentina, the United States, South Africa and China, and the five arrows on the bottle neck wrapper of Lafite wines come from the Rothschild family crest.
