Southwest Times (France), Sept. 28, 2019 - From Aug. 1, 2019 to July 31, 2020, 380 million liters of wine, equivalent to 506 million bottles, were sold by wineries in the Bordeaux region.

This represents a 4 percent decline compared to the same period the previous year. Bordeaux wine sales have continued to fall in recent years and have reached an all-time low, well below the more than 500 million liters sold at the beginning of the second decade of the century.
According to the data, China, one of the biggest customers for Bordeaux wine exports, received just 30 million liters of Bordeaux wine during the period, less than half of what it received three years ago.
