Beinong Estate wine won the Gold Medal of the Brussels International Wine Grand Prix

On September 11, the organizers of the Brussels International Wine Awards announced the results of the 2020 competition, and the Beijing Agricultural College Beinong Estate 2017 Reserve Syrah won a gold medal, which had won the gold medal at the World Wine Competition in Berlin in March this year.

The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is the Oscars of the wine world, with a wide reach in the wine industry. This year"s competition was held in Brno, Czech Republic, from September 4 to 6. 8,500 wines from 50 countries and regions participated in the competition, and 300 international wine judges judged the samples.

The red wine, which won the gold medal at the Brussels International Wine Awards, was made under the technical support and quality control of the Department of Oenological Engineering, College of Food Science and Engineering, Beijing Agricultural College. The grapes were harvested, sorted, fermented and aged in strict accordance with the International Organization of Wine (OIV) norms, combined with the winemaking concept and scientific research technology proposed by the Department of Oenology Engineering for the local terroir of the winery, which is the concrete application of the proprietary technology of the Department of Oenology Engineering.

In recent years, Beinong Manor wines have repeatedly won awards in internationally renowned wine competitions, winning a silver medal at DAWA (Hong Kong) in 2016, a bronze medal at DWWA (London) in 2018, and a double gold medal at the Berlin Wine Competition in 2020.
