This proposal proposes a four-year inventory of 10% of annual production of Barolo grapes, starting with this harvest season.
The current annual production of the Barolo appellation is 14.5 million bottles. If this proposal is approved, the total inventory of Barolo wines will increase by 1.4 million bottles by 2024.
