In 2018, Alberca became a Master of Wine, balancing a demanding Master of Wine program with a full-time winemaker.
Her resume includes a stint in Cnit, a boutique winery in Zamora. Prior to joining Oeno, she was the Technical Director of Palacio Winery.
Alberca was born in Madrid and studied agricultural engineering before choosing to specialize in viticulture and oenology. She currently works in the Duero River bank and has been recognized by the wine industry for her winemaking skills.
Alberca has almost 20 years of experience in the wine sector, with a special focus on making great wines on some of the best terroirs in the northwest of Spain.
She also has extensive experience in sourcing Spanish wines for the US market, overseeing the strategic development of wineries, launching new products, and conducting training events for sommeliers, WSET and IMW students.
Boutique wine investment company Oeno is made up of many different businesses, including its wine investment arm OenoFuture and OenoTrade, which connects wine investors with the private trade sector.
