In the new edition of the Penin Guide 2021 Yearbook, the D.O.C. Priorat achieved a very good result, with an average score of 90.99 points for all the wines scored (257 wines), ranking it second among all the appellations. 20 wines reached the top of the podium (95+ points).

Priorat has once again proven its status as a premium-grade appellation: Les Tosses 2017 from Terroir al Limit, 1902 Centenary Carignan 2016 from Celler Mas Doix, and lvaro Palacios" L' Ermita 2018, all three wines received 97 points and are the highest scoring Catalan wines in the Penin Guide 2021 Yearbook.
This year a total of 1,608 wines from Catalonia were selected for the Penin Guide 2021 Yearbook, of which about 50% (772) scored more than 90 points, with 25 wines on the top podium. In addition to the Priorato premium appellation, the D.O. Peneds, D.O. Empord and D.O. Montsant appellations all received excellent results.
