67% of traditional wine stores increase turnover by an average of 10% under the impact of the epidemic

According to a survey conducted by the Vinarius Association, it is not only e-commerce that has generated revenue for wine under the epidemic: 67% of traditional wine stores have increased their turnover by an average of 10 percentage points, with a peak of + 30% (15% of the survey respondents).

However, 36% of the wine stores declared a 40% drop in sales due to the epidemic. Andrea Terraneo, president, explained that the survey shows the serious impact of the epidemic and that more than 46% of respondents believe that the situation is significantly worse in 2020 than in 2019 from a sales point of view.
