Due to the ongoing impact of the New Crown epidemic in Europe, the head of the prestigious Valpolicella Wine Region Protection Association in the Veneto region of Italy recently told the public that the Anteprima Amarone 2021 pre-tasting will be postponed until 2022, when it will focus on the launch of the 2017 vintage of Amarone della Valpolicella. In January 2021, the association will hold a series of online events.

The annual Tuscan wine tasting (Anteprima), organized by the Tuscan regional government, has been postponed until May 2021, after having been held in mid-February in previous years. It has been revealed that the Tuscan region and related institutions, appellation associations and others hope to use the event as an opportunity to organize a series of large-scale events to revitalize wine tourism in the Tuscan region. It is expected that this year"s event will involve at least 1,000 wineries and 5,000 restaurants and bars in Tuscany.
