The Master of Wine examination is known to be globally recognized for its rigor and high standards. Candidates need to be well versed in not only wine knowledge, but also in any wine-related subject in the sciences, arts, humanities or public sphere of society.

The exam is divided into three stages and at the end a research paper, or essay as we call it, is required.
